Pastor’s Word 3/18/2026

Too often when we’re feeling down, confused and hopeless we try to attack everyone even the people who’re trying to help us make sense out of the nonsense. This is when we NEED to take the time to have a conversation with God to get refueled with the hope we’ve lost along the way.

This week’s message “Can You See Me?” served as a reminder that we have to pray a little louder to gain God’s undivided attention in times such as these. As the Lenten Season is nearing the end, we’re going to shift our focus to “Why Do You Doubt” on the fourth Saturday. We will address this topic in a profound fashion.

The final two weeks of this month, we encourage you to tune in as we will have two guest speakers, Rev. Anthony Sullivan, Jr and Rev. Dr. Ashley L. Dowden, on the podcast. We want to encourage the guests with a warm welcome in the same manner you do each and every week we normally do. I’ll still be present as we’re preparing for Good Friday which will be phenomenal.

As for anyone going through individual crises, make sure that you reach out to the professionals that can fully help as your journey gets to be a little challenging. Dial 988 if you need someone to talk to. I encourage you to not give up because you are created to be the best of all of us.

Last but not least: Let’s keep our brothers and sisters in Homeland Security in prayer as they’re still going without pay going into a month without much traction. Be patient with them and if you’re connected to anyone there-reach out and encourage them. This will not last and God will have the final say. Amen!!!
