Pastor’s Word For 5/20/2026

 This past Sunday’s message “Time 2 Believe” was a true blessing and I’m hopeful that you got a chance to listen to this program. If you haven’t, make sure that you get a chance to when you can.

 Starting this week, on the homepage we have been posting various videos from Trinity United Church of Christ-Chicago as they are keeping us informed on current events that plays a cause on our Christian journey. Even though my sermons may touch the surface, the pastor there goes further. We may also share anecdotes from other ministers along the way too in addition to showing Saturday Inspiration each week it airs. 

 This coming Sunday is Pentecost Sunday (this past week’s message covers the event of Pentecost) and the beginning of our Spring Revival entitled “Time/Out.” This Sunday’s program will feature Elder Mason Curtis as he kicks off the revival and we will conclude on the next Sunday with Rev. Dr. Ashley L. Dowden. Both services will be released each week at a special time of 11:30 AM CST. Make sure that you save the date on your respective calendars.

 Lastly, let’s keep everyone we know lifted up in prayer as we are all going through things that are distracting us from our divine purpose. Let’s lift each other up more and encourage each other to be the best version of ourselves in the process. 

 Don’t forget that our Saturday Inspiration will be available this Saturday as we are closing out our “Tempt Me Not” series as we look at Jesus during his Temptation in the desert. It’ll be available on every platform and the website as well.
