Pastor’s Word For 6/6/2026

 Greetings to everyone who’ve taken the time to check us out as we wrapped up our two week Time/Our Revival. Special thanks to Elder Mason Curtis and Rev. Dr. Ashley L. Dowden for giving us special insight into Genesis 1. I’m even thanking you for spreading the message and sharing the revival with your loved ones as it is still going strong as we speak. That is a major accomplishment for this wonderful ministry known as Safe Haven Podcast.

 This weekend we are focusing on the topic “Let US Pray.” We are in some tough times as we need to pray harder than we ever had before and the message that I’ll be bringing will shed some light on how the church needs to come together just like the early church did in the beginning. Be prepared for a potential early release on Sunday even though the time is advertised as 7:30 PM. 

 On the third Sunday, we’re going to recognize Pride Month with special guest speaker Rev. Dr. Anthony Sullivan, Jr. He’s no stranger to our podcast and I’m aware that recognizing Pride is taboo for some believers. We can’t be Christians and exclude other potential believers from the conversation. This man of God has helped open critical doors for me on my journey as a preacher and I extend the same olive branch in allowing him to preach the message God has given him. 

 This weekend is a busy one for me as I will make an appearance at New Beginning Worship Center for their Legacy Sunday program honoring their Pastor Emeritus Rev. Dr. Homer Walker, Jr. He was the Pastor who ordained me and trained me so I’m paying tribute to his legacy at their 11:00 AM service.
