Pastor’s Word For 5/29/2026

Greetings to everyone reading this today. God has blessed you to get through this enduring week. Many of you are still struggling to find jobs, find purpose and even having a harder time finding Jesus in the midst of your 24/7 grind. 

To those who tuned in to our Time/Out Revival featuring Elder Mason Curtis this past weekend learned that we have to reexamine ourselves from the beginning. We will have one more Time/Out service this weekend with our friend, Rev. Dr. Ashley L. Dowden, as the guest speaker. She will bring it home for us in a mighty strong way. 

A few days ago I attended a rally for the SEIU Union in Springfield, IL. This rally is to bring the attention to the state leaders that home health care and its funding to continue is vastly important. I, myself, learned a few things and made some fascinating connections. My ministry has always leaned to empowering people to fight for their beliefs in a positive light and this experience was one of the ways I’ve always believed in. Talking about history is one thing but living it and writing history is another avenue that some are afraid to do but when you are backed by the fact that God has empowered you from within-the sky is the limit.
