Psalm 118:5 NLT
In my distress I prayed to the LORD, and the LORD answered me and set me free.

For many of us, this day isn’t a day of freedom but is a reminder of an idea that hasn’t fully come to fruition yet. It doesn’t change the fact that it represents the birth of a nation that is still (after 250 years) trying to be free for all and not a select few.

We’ve lived through many demonstrations and have seen amendments and laws passed to help ensure the freedoms that the declaration attempted to make. The early Americans wanted liberation and somewhere along the way became just like the oppressors they became liberated from. It’s easy to pass blame on them from our 2026 understanding but they conducted the construction based off what they knew and seemingly wasn’t open for a different take. Freedom isn’t freely given and for many other countries that fight against/for it but if you believe in it-it’s possible.

As for this weekend, I’m prayerful that you remain safe from all potential harm that comes with any celebration attached to Independence Day. My sabbatical has begun and I hope that you will tune in this month as we will have a wonderful time in the Lord. We will start off with Elder Mason Curtis as he will preach a message based off our theme: “Finding The Missing Piece.” Every service this month will have an early start time of: 11:30 AM CST. Support the ministry this month and most importantly support our guests as they’ll be preaching from their hearts.

Yours in Christ,
